Human Creative is a welfare-first agency for freelance filmmakers. So, what does that mean?

Well, with welfare at our core, we provide a fully curated service that connects the best freelancers with our clients - ensuring your production is crewed with passionate, reliable freelancers who are the best fit possible.

Each and every one of our freelancers is directly referred and properly assessed before we onboard... no more gambling as to whether your crew will deliver or not.

In the interest of both freelancers and our clients, we wanted rates to become more standardised and transparent, there is no 'one size fits all' but our proprietary rate system gets us pretty damn close.

Not all projects require (or have time for) tailored gear rental. However, acknowledging the monetary value of what kit your project requires is not to be overlooked; By starting with this, the playing field is instantly levelled - the strength of ones work ethic and creativity becomes the real factor in securing work... not who has the lowest rate.

Of course, there are many scenarios where certain experience is imperative and rightfully this should be both credited and promoted, henceforth our banding system.

With day rates, history tells us that our client's most common requirements are that of the 'Standard' package, which in most cases, includes a versatile, 2x camera kit which will ensure you're covered in 90% of scenarios - a diverse package capable of 4K imaging, audio recording, gimbal and common grip.

For the remaining 10% of scenarios - when kit requirements become more specific, the 'Plus' and 'Special Rates' packages offer a more tailored solution.
